Founder & President
Stephen has been involved in church ministry since he was very young. His father Jerry was an ordained pastor and his mother Mary was a gifted worship leader. Their godly example resulted in Stephen’s personal growth in both of those ministry capacities from an early age. After being actively involved in worship and small group ministry most of his adult life, Stephen came to a turning point and he felt God’s calling on his life to shift his focus from worship/small group ministry to begin the task of formal preparation and training for pastoral ministry. He followed God's calling.
As a result of obedience to God’s pastoral calling on his life, Stephen is now an ordained & licensed minister with a passion for theology, apologetics and teaching the Bible. He earned his bachelors degree in Biblical Counseling at the "College of Biblical Studies" in Houston and his Masters degree in "Biblical Studies" from the "Moody Bible Institute". In 2017 he was honored to receive the Delta Epsilon Chi Honor Society Award for: "Leadership Ability, Christian Character, & Intellectual Achievement" presented by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
Stephen's primary passion is to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, provide Biblically grounded counseling and equip Christians with the knowledge and tools needed to grow in their faith against a backdrop of worldly skepticism. Uncompromising sermons & teachings, Christian apologetics, Biblical counseling, and supporting spiritual growth through individual discipleship with compassion sums up his desire for ministry.
Stephen is married to his amazing wife Amy and both are proud parents of their nine year old daughter Lydia. They have two pugs and a pekingese to round out the family. In his free time Stephen enjoys Christian apologetics/debates, playing (bass, drums, keys, guitar) and listening to music, watching movies & NFL football and having quality family time.
